How Is N-Acetyl Semax Studied?
N-Acetyl Semax is a modified form of Semax, a synthetic ACTH(4-10) analog. The added acetyl group is studied for improved resistance to enzymatic breakdown. Research has examined its effects on BDNF and NGF expression and neuronal signaling in cell and rodent models.
