How Is Tesamorelin Studied?
Tesamorelin is a GHRH(1-44) analog with a trans-3-hexenoyl group at the N-terminus that resists DPP-4 degradation. Studies have examined its binding at the GHRH receptor on pituitary somatotrophs and downstream GH and IGF-1 signaling, making it a research tool for studying the GHRH pathway.
Storage
Store the sealed vial at −20 °C long-term or 2–8 °C short-term, away from light. Once reconstituted in the lab, keep at 2–8 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. See our storage guide.
