How Is L-Glutathione Studied?
L-Glutathione is a tripeptide of glutamate, cysteine and glycine whose gamma-peptide bond resists most peptidases. Studies have examined its role in neutralizing reactive oxygen species, as a cofactor for glutathione peroxidase and in glutathione S-transferase conjugation, making it a core research tool for redox biology.
Storage
Store sealed at 2–8 °C or −20 °C, away from light and moisture. Once reconstituted in the lab, keep at 2–8 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. See our storage guide.
