How Is GHK-Cu Studied?
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide first identified in human plasma. Studies have examined its role in collagen and elastin synthesis, matrix remodeling and antioxidant enzyme activity. Preclinical models have investigated its effects on dermal fibroblast activity, wound-healing models and hair follicle biology, making it a research tool for studying tissue regeneration and copper-dependent cellular pathways.
Storage
Store the sealed vial at −20 °C for long-term storage, or 2–8 °C short-term, away from light. Once reconstituted in the lab, keep at 2–8 °C and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
